The club achieved the FA Charter Standard Award and the Local Authority Sports Club Standard Award. This means that all the critiria set out by the FA and Local Authorities for running a succesful and safe club for children are met.

At Lane Head Football Club we also make it our policy that all of our team managers are at least FA level 2 qualified or working towards qualification and our coaches are at least level 1 qualified and CRB certified.

Teams covering a range of age groups are established in the club. Each age group fields one or more teams. The club run an Academy school, introducing children at the age of four to five into the game by creating fun and enjoyment for them to learn.
